On the 21th of October 2015 Reynolds&Reyner team was happy to be a partner of a very important event in the world of Ukrainian interior design. The Society of British and International Design (SBID) representative office opening. SBID is a community of professionals with more than 50 thousand Accredited professional designers from around the world.
This truly remarkable occasion determines further course of Ukrainian design history. As the only representative of Great Britain within the European Council of Interior Architects (ECIA) SBID not only sets interior design standards and tendencies, but will now also allow new opportunities for Ukrainian professionals improvements. By accrediting them and creating the appropriate conditions for occupational growth it will promote the designers to the international market of one of the most powerful fields of the present.
The representative office opening would never happen but the efforts of the SBID Regional Directors: the founder of Domio Home Interiors salon Yuliya Danilova and the SBID Member and interior designer Nataly Bolshakova.
SBID President Vanessa Brady hopes that it will spread works of Ukrainian designers throughout the world.
It is now that they speak about evident prospective of British and Ukrainian designers’ collaboration with some sort of anticipation, as it is a perfect combination of centuries-old creative work history and fabulous undiscovered potential.
Among the participants and guests of the ceremony there were Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough, the best architects and designers from all regions of Ukraine, interior designer with 30 years experience, owner of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award, the SBID President Vanessa Brady, representatives of the related educational environment, partners as well as the special guest the creative leader of Delightfull group of designers Diogo Corvalho.
